FROM THE COACH: "Our team is playing our best volleyball of the season right now and, even though we ended up losing in 5 sets to CMU, I am confident in how we are playing and in what our mindset is. I am extremely proud of our team and how they have overcome some major hurdles this year. We lost 4 players after the Fall semester and the guys really rallied together and stayed focussed throughout the 2nd half of the season. With the win against USB, we solidified 1st place heading into playoffs which gives us a better matchup in the semi-final. At the end of the day, we are going to have to play our best volleyball if we hope to repeat as MCAC champions this next weekend." - Scott Masterson

PLAYER’S VIEW: "Our last two matches were extremely vital for our team. We needed to get one win in order to secure 1st place in the standings but we wanted to get two wins. We played very well on Wednesday but lost in the slimmest of margins to CMU 13-15 in the 5th set. But this made us even more amped up for our game against USB on Friday. We played some clean volleyball and won, securing that top spot in the standings. Now we go into our last week of preparation before the playoffs. Our guys are hungry and know what we need to do to get it done." - Pierce Dresser
