- Austin Blackwell: 1 goal

Game #2
GAME: Providence Pilots vs University of Saint Boniface
SCORE: 1-3 loss
DATE: Sunday, September 8.
LOCATION: Otterburne, MB

PILOTS KEY CONTRIBUTORS:
- Giovanni Benitez
- Bret Sveinson - 1 goal

FROM THE COACH:
"We pretty much had every high and low imaginable you can have from your opening two games to a season within our team. We saw some great passing, some nice goals, some good defending, and on the flip side we also saw a lot of fatigue, poor decisions, and an overall sloppiness that comes in part due to having such a young and new team. The good news is I know this squad is really talented and the potential is obviously there. Once we get in better shape, guys get used to playing with each other, and they get a bit more comfortable, we'll be a confident group. I really liked seeing how Austin Blackwell started finding his confidence and created a lot of problems for the other team's defense due to his speed and tenacity. Furthermore, Giovanni Benitez was very solid for us in the middle and was great in possession and driving with the ball. He will be a nightmare for opposing teams this year." - Joseph Passi
