FROM THE COACH:
Pierre Dubreuil: "This weekend showed us some weaknesses in our offence that we need to correct quickly. It is still early in the season but, we need to be able to play the game in a more consistent way. Our guys competed well on both ends of the court, but not for 40 minutes. We are going to keep working day after day to be better, and we will be ready the next time we face Red River. Shoutout to Kevin Camara for a really good stats line!"

PLAYER’S VIEW:
Daniel Kilmartin: "We had a good home opener, it was a great experience as it was the first time playing at home for most of our players. Nearly all of our guys where healthy and able to play for the start of the season, which was not the case for the preseason. We battled hard against a good team this weekend in front of our home crowd. We played well but came up short in both the second halves. Live ball turnovers and struggling to keep Red River from grabbing offensive rebounds were two strong factors to our losses. On the plus side of the weekend, we know if we clean up our game we can easily run with these guys, plus we got to see our captain break the MCAC scoring record Friday night! Hopefully, as a team we can take advantage of the attention he attracts on offense. "
