FROM THE COACH:
This past weekend was the end of our five-game road trip, and we were in tough against another solid team in Presentation College. This was the second straight game where the opponent had a significant height advantage over our team. The guys did well to adjust to the tempo during the game and although we lost Friday night, our freshmen had great performances showing they are able to compete at the college level. Special mention to Demar Kraus (15 points) and Tyler Klassen (12 points), who provided strong minutes and were scoring threats from the perimeter all game.
In Saturday’s matchup against Presentation, we tried to continue the same energy and keep the game close. We were getting quality chances, but the shots were not falling. In a losing effort, JT Lawson (19 points) and Waedon Dueck (12 points) put in team high rebounds of 7 & 6 respectively.
I think most of the guys are glad to be home - using these next two weeks to prepare for Red River we will come out hungry for a win. - Assistant Coach Jon Patterson
