FROM THE COACH:
The best way to describe this weekend is ‘unbelievable!’ We have seen glimpses of this level of volleyball from our team throughout this season, but we were never able to play at this level in such a complete way. We had only beaten St. Boniface once all season and we had never come close to beating CMU all year. So to beat St. Boniface in a 5-set thriller in the semi-final and follow that up with an unbelievable win against CMU was nothing short of incredible. Everyone played their best and we needed that if we wanted a chance to win. The reality is, it is really difficult to play your best when it matters the most, and we had every single player accomplish that in the final. I am so proud of the entire team and it is obviously a very special way to finish a season. - Scott Masterson

FROM THE PLAYERS:
“This weekend was one for the books and is something I will remember for a long time! We always joked this season about peaking at the right time but that is what happened this weekend. Everyone on the team played the best they have this season and everything came together at the exact right time! We had amazing games and the atmosphere in the gym was awesome! Our fans made all the difference and helped create the energy we needed! It was a great last game of my volleyball career and something we have worked hard for over the past three years that I have been part of this team.” – Brett Foley

"Big wins this weekend for the good guys. We had a stellar performance from the guys on our squad, amazing game plans put together by our coaches and insane atmosphere created by our fans. All in all, an unreal experience that will stick with us for the rest of our lives." - Pierce Dresser

"This weekend was something that will stick with me forever. We were ranked third going into playoffs and rose to the challenge by playing our best volleyball of the season and upset the two higher seeds then us to win the championship. Winning the championship on our home court was the perfect way to cap off my college volleyball career. I couldn’t think of a better way to go out. The fans were amazing and created a high energy environment that was a lot of fun to play in." - Matt Friesen
