The Providence Pilots men’s volleyball team has recruited its first new player for the 2018-19 season.

Will Ramsey, a 6’3” left side, will attend Providence from next fall and is looking to pursing phys ed and science education. On the court, he is already a Provincial “A” Champion as part of the Elton Collegiate Sabres, with which he also garnered individual MVP recognition.

“Will is a great guy and a great athlete,” says Scott Masterson, head coach of the men’s volleyball team and Director of Athletics at Providence. “We’ve been connecting with him and getting to know him over the past couple of years and we’re really excited about what he will bring to our program and our school. He’s a team player who already has some great fundamental skills. His work ethic will enable him to get the most out of what we believe is a lot of potential.”

Adds Ramsey: “I’m excited to be given the opportunity to play volleyball and attend school at Providence next year.”
