Mile Two Admissions

We’re excited that you want to create space to grow closer to God through the diverse community of Mile Two Discipleship School at Providence. Through Mile Two, you’ll learn about God and yourself while transitioning into adulthood. You’ll serve Christ by helping others through bi-weekly service placements in communities, such as the inner city of Winnipeg. You’ll even earn university credit! Space is limited in Mile Two. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you go on to study at Providence University College, you can transfer six courses into your first year.

Admission Requirement

Terms of Commitment

In order to apply to Mile Two you must agree to the following:

  • I will do my best to make following Jesus my primary goal.
  • I will participate fully, to the best of my ability, in every area of Mile Two. This includes classroom time, service opportunities, worship time, dorm life and generally all of community life.
  • I will not engage in any activity that would be detrimental to the health of the Mile Two community or to my own health – physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.
  • I will submit to the authority of the staff of Mile Two, my pastor and my mentor.

Application Policy

In admitting students, Providence does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, sex, nationality or ethnic origin. Personal information in your application packet is used solely to facilitate your application process.

To cover the cost of Mile Two we suggest you work and save up your earnings or you might also ask your church for support or hold a fundraiser at your church or in your community. Mile Two also offers a limited number of need-based bursaries.
